Four men steals from apartment in Iskele, beat and tied the hands of the owner

Four young people who reportedly went to a house in Iskele to steal have been arrested by Turkish Cypriot police.

Police in a statement said the suspects at around 8:30pm on Tuesday Dec., 26, 2023, entered an apartment where one M.H.K, 39 was staying in İskele, with the intention of committing a crime.

After entering the property, they tied the hands of the resident MHK, beat him, tied his hands and stole 40,000 US dollars in cash, a suitcase, a bag, a laptop, four women's wristwatches and various jewelry.

The suspects, named only as A.K, 23, F.M, 26, M.M, 21 and A.K, 21 were identified and arrested by the police following the incident.
