Two people found living in north Cyprus illegally during police insppection

Two people were arrested for living in the TRNC without a resident permit and 25 people banned form entering casino during police inspections carried out across the country on Saturday night. 

The inspections were carried out in Lefkcosia, Famagusta, Girne, Güzelyurt and İskele simultaneously last night. 

According to police report, in the inspections carried out in the casinos, a total of 25 people who were banned from entering the casino were identified and legal action was taken against them.

A total of 796 vehicle drivers were inspected, while a total of 199 drivers, 79 of whom were driving faster than the legal speed limit, and 2 of them were driving under the influence of alcohol, were reported for various traffic offenses and legal action was initiated against them. 29 vehicles were banned from traffic.

In Kyrenia; places where the people are concentrated, entertainment venues, coffee houses and hostels were checked, 3 people residing without a residence permit were arrested, legal action was started against a market operator who did not comply with the closing time.
