Student wanted by the police for abandoning his car at an accident scene in June, arrested

A man who was involved in an accident on the Famagusta-Karpaz Main Road in June and abandoned his vehicle has been identified and arrested by the police.

The suspect, named only as ADS, 30, a Nigerian was involved in an accident near the carob factory roundabout, between the 21st and 22nd kilometers of the Famagusta-Karpaz Main Road, Iskele on June, 25. 

Police said he abandoned his car at the accident scene following the accident and had been wanted since then.

Police in a statement on Friday said he has been identified and arrested.
