New electricity prices come into effect tomorrow

The new electricity tariff announced by the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (Kıb-Tek) will come into effect from tomorrow, Saturday, July, 1.

Accordingly, in the one-time electricity tariff, the exemption for the first 500 Kws was left the same as 0.3442 TL, while an increase was made of between 0.30TL and 0.90 TL for each Kws in the double time electricity tariffs. 

While the fixed fee was determined as 25 TL in housing tariffs, it was 35 TL for single phase and 50 TL for multi-phase in commercial, tourism, industry, water engines and government office tariffs.  

In deposit fees, the temporary flow was 6,781.50 TL, the housing tariff was 2,712.60, and the commercial tariff was 4,068.90 TL.  

For 3-time housing tariffs, it will be 5.5176 TL between 09.00-18.00 in the summer period, 3.9884 TL between 18.00-23.00 and  2.6292 TL between 23.00-09.00.
