Motorcycle rider die in traffic accident on the Yenierenköy-Yeşilköy main road

One person died in a traffic accident that resulted from a collision between a motorcycle and a car on the Yenierenköy-Yeşilköy main road on Saturday evening.

The unfortunate incident happened at around 9:00pm on Saturday on the Yenierenköy-Yeşilköy main road.

Police in a statement said the accident happened on the first kilometer of the Yeşilköy - Erenköy Main Road when a motorcycle collided with a car leading to the death of the motorcycle rider. 

The driver of the vehicle injured in the accident is still being treated at the Famagusta State Hospital, where he was taken. 

The investigation into the incident continues.
