E-Visa application to be implemented in a short time - TRNC Prime Minister
TRNC Primie Minister, Ünal Üstel on Wednesday said the E-Visa Regulation has been passed by the government in order to introduce the E-Visa Automation System.
Ünal Üstel made the announcement in a written statement issued after the Council of Ministers meeting on Wednesday.
The statement reads as follows;
Our Council of Ministers has addressed all the issues concerning our country, as well as the actions taken by our teacher unions today.
In line with the targets set by our government, the E-Visa Regulation was passed by our Council of Ministers today in order to introduce the E-Visa Automation System, which is the most important of the efforts and steps taken in the last year, to protect the country's security and public peace.
Serious steps have been taken since the first day in order to ensure the security of the country and increase the registration. Acting in line with the reports of our Security Forces and Police Department, we acted with zero tolerance against people who were involved in crimes as a result of judicial processes and disturbed the peace of the country.
As the government, we have put forward a vision as a result of the work done by getting to the root of the problem in order to impose a strict control on the entrances to the country.
It will strengthen the control to be made at the entrance to the country with e-Visa. As of today, all software phases of the E-Visa system have been completed and the testing phase has begun. The by-law work, which is the final stage for the implementation of the e-Visa System, has been completed by technical and legal colleagues.
With the activation of the E-Visa automation system, which we have completed within the legal framework, we will implement another important project in order to ensure national security and protect public peace. E-Visa application will be implemented in a short time and our country will be the winner.
As I stated at the very beginning of my speech, the doors of our Prime Ministry and ministries are open to all segments, all stakeholders and all our unions, and they will continue to be open.
