TRNC police issues warning to drivers of vehicles without a driving license

The Turkish Cypriot police has issued a warning that vehicles will be banned from traffic, as well as legal action against drivers of vehicles without a navigational license.

Police in a statement by the Police Press Officer on Wednesday said, within the scope of the traffic inspections to be carried out throughout the country, as of today, (Wednesday, April, 12, 2023), legal action will be taken against the drivers of vehicles who are found not to have a valid navigational license, as well as the authority given to the police by the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Regulation (AE 99/1974). Based on this, it was noted that drivers' vehicles will also be banned from traffic.
