The TRNC annual inflation rose to 66.97 percent in March
The TRNC Statistical Institute has published the Consumer Prices General Index for March.
According to the index, annual inflation rose to 66.97%. According to the data, life in the northern part of Cyprus became 2.10% more expensive compared to the previous month.
In the index, where the highest increase was 5.20% in the main group of Restaurants and Hotels compared to the previous month in terms of main expenditure groups, 4.86% in the main group of Health, 3.30% in the main group of Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages, 3.15% in the main group of Miscellaneous Goods and Services, Furniture, Home 2.88% in the Appliances and Home Care Services main group, 2.35% in the Clothing and Footwear main group, 1.18% in the Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco main group, 0.93% in the Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Other Fuels main group, 0.74% in the Entertainment and Culture main group, It was stated that there was 0.52% increase in the Transportation main group, 0.14% in the Education main group and 0.08% in the Communication main group.
