Nigerian student dies from injuries sustained from fatal accident in Lefkosa
A 32-year-old Nigerian student, William Ejieta Klines, who was hit by a vehicle while crossing a road in Lefkosa on April, 2 and has been receiving treatment at the Suat Günsel Hospital in Girne has died.
William Ejieta Klines was trying to cross the road on foot when he was hit by a vehicle driven by one Boris KEMKA TCHİNDA LAMBOU, 30, an African student at around 11:40pm on Sunday April, 2 in front of the Honda traffic light on Dr. Fazıl Küçük Boulevard in Lefkosa, north Cyprus.
Boris KEMKA TCHİNDA LAMBOU was arrested following the accident. Police said he was driving carelessly.
Willian who was seriously injured in the accident was first taken into the intensive care unit at the Lefkosa State Hospital in Lefkosa and then transferred to the Suat Günsel Hospital in Girne where he had been receiving treatment.
Since the accidents, his friends rallied around him to make sure he survives it but despite all medical intervention, he couldn't hold on to life and passed away on Tuesday, April, 11.
Police are investigation the incident.
This man needs to apprehended and have a fine given to him because the family of the victim have gone through a lot to try to ensure he survives so pls for this my very good friend and brother to be at peace please ensure that that guy gets a very huge conviction and does time so this doesn’t happen to anyone else thanks 🙏 sad 😢
