Water supply interruption in Famagusta due to a fault in supply line

People in Famagusta will be without water for 4 days due to an eruption on the main water line affecting water supply in the region.

The Famagusta municipality in an announcement on Thursday advised residents to use water sparingly.

The Municipality in a statement stated that the water coming to Famagusta was completely cut off as of yesterday (Wednesday) due to the eruption near the Salamis Hotel in Yeniboğaziçi.

In the statement, it was stated that the work on the line under the responsibility and control of the Water Works Department could take up to 4 days.
