Vehicle burst into flame in Lefkosa

A vehicle caught fire in Kucuk Kaymakli, Lefkosa on Saturday afternoon.

According to police report, the vehicle which was badly damaged by the fire caught fire due to a short circuit in the electrical components in the engine compartment.

The incident occurred at around 2.30pm when the driver of the vehicle was driving.

The fire was extinguished by residents of the region.

The battery in the engine compartment of the vehicle, the air filter, plastic parts and the front hood were damaged.
