U.N. helicopter makes emergency landing in Nicosia

A United Nations helicopter made an emergency landing at Laiki Sporting Club in Latsia, Nicosia, south Cyprus on Wednesday morning.

Members of the U.N. went to the location to tow the helicopter using a crane.

“All #UN personnel are safe and accounted for. A full investigation is underway after a UN helicopter had to make an emergency landing,” U.N. in Cyprus said on Twitter.
