Student gives police someones else's driving license during traffic control

 

A 25-year old student was arrested over the weekend for giving someones else's driving license to the police during traffic control on the Güzelyurt-Lefkosia main road.

The incident happened around 11:00pm on Saturday, March, 4 on the Güzelyurt-Lefkosia main road.

Police in it's statement said the 25-year-old man identified only as ETM, gave the police someone else's driving license leading to his arrest.

Police said he committed the crime of “impersonating someone else and obtaining registration by false behavior.”

Police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
