Police seize 36 kg lamb meat at crossing point with south Cyprus

Police said it seized a total of 36 kilograms and 350 grams of lamb meat found in a vehicle entering the TRNC from south Cyprus.

Police said meats which has not been declared to customs, was seized in a vehicle entering from south to north at the Akyar crossing point in Famagusta at around 1:00pm pm on Saturday.

A 62-year-old man was arrested and legal action has been initiated against him.
