Man falls from a cliff while hiking in Tashkent
The Tashkent Nature Park teams and then the Fire Brigade teams rescued a man who slipped and fell from a cliff while hiking in Tashkent on Tuesday.
According to report, the person slipped and fell from the cliff of about 30 meters high while hiking in Tashkent.
A statement by the Taşken Nature Park said their teams started a search immediately after they received a complaint on the 1190 Wildlife Support Line of the Fire Brigade that a person had fallen off the cliff in the region.
The Park's team were able to reach the victim within 5-10 mins until fire brigade team arrived from Lefkosa.
The victim was carried to the ambulance on a stretcher together with the firefighter, health and police teams who came to the scene.
As far as we have learned, it is very fortunate and pleasing that there are no serious injuries, they said in the statement.
At these times, the ground, especially the green grass, can be very slippery. When going out in nature, choosing the right shoes and paying close attention to the printed areas are essential. Please take the necessary precautions and be very careful.
