Man dies in accident in Kyrenia

 

A 24-year-old man died in a traffic accident that occurred in Kyrenia on Thursday night.

According to report, the unfortunate accident happened on Karaoğlanoğlu Street in Girne at around 9:25pm on Thursday.

A female motorist identified as Aliye İNANOĞLU was heading towards Alsancak on Karaoğlanoğlu Street when she made a careless right turn into the opposite lane just after passing the Merit Park Hotel junction and her vehicle collided with an oncoming vehicle driven by Erdem HONDURLU, 24.

Both drivers were injured in the accident, including three passengers, Süleyman KOCABAŞ, 21, İbrahim KAYNARCA, 22 and Adem KOCABAŞ, 24 in the oncoming vehicle. All were taken to Dr. Akçiçek Hospital in Kyrenia and were later transferred to Lefkcosia State Hospital

The young man who died in Dr. Akçiçek Hospital was named as Adem Kocabaş, aged 24.
