2-year-old boy was injured after falling from a building in Gönyeli

The people of north Cyprus continue to receive bitter news after a 2-year-old was injured after falling from the widow of an apartment building in Gönyeli on Friday.

The incident happened at around 5:30pm on Friday in Gönyeli,when, 2-year-old Efe opened the sliding window of their apartment, got down, lost his balance and fell 6 meters onto the concrete floor. 

This is coming on the same day a 3-year old child was found dead in a water tank in Girne after he was declared missing.

Ahmet Efe Kuzucu who was injured in the fall was taken to the Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Lefkosa when he was observed in the pediatric service after his treatment.

Police launched an investigation into the incident.
