Three more Turkish Cypriot found dead in Turkey's earthquake

A group of Turkish Cypriot volleyball student-athletes, coach and teachers were staying in the hotel when the catastrophic earthquakes struck Turkey on Monday.
The students had travelled to Adiyaman from Famagusta Turkish Maarif College, escorted by teachers and parents.
A statement by the TRNC Prime Ministry on Thursday afternoon said the people found are that of Duygu Kalaycı, her daughter Lavin Kalaycı and Özgür İçme, a member of the volleyball team.
The
death of Anne Duygu Kalaycı and her daughter Lavin Kalaycı, who was on
the Famagusta Turkish Maarif College volleyball team, and Özgür İçme,
who was also on the volleyball team, were confirmed by the official
sources, family relatives and authorities at the wreck site.
According report, over 20 people – students, teachers and parents – from the delegation are still missing in the hotel debris.
More 170 people, rescuers and relatives, have flown to Turkey since Monday in search of them.
At the moment, 12 people from the TRNC have been reported dead in the earthquake.
The death toll across Turkey and Syria has risen past 19,000.
