Student caught with cannabis

The police have arrested a student after cannabis was found in his possession. 

The suspect was arrested on Monday, Feb. 13 by a team of the Narcotics and Smuggling Prevention Directorate.

The suspect was found to have 16 grams of cannabis in his home and also sold to 2 people.

In a search made by the police at the suspect's residence, a drug believed to be a cannabis type weighing 1 gram in a tray was found in the living room of the residence, a grinder and a playing card believed to have drug residues on it, a drug substance believed to be a cannabis type of approximately 15 grams wrapped in 4 separate foil papers were also found. 

They were taken as evidence.

The police said that the suspect voluntarily confessed that he bought the substance in 28 grams from a wanted person and sold it to 2 different people for money. The police stated that the investigation was continuing and demanded that the suspect be detained for 3 days.
