Snow and sleet expected in mountainous areas on Tuesday in north Cyprus

The TRNC Meteorology Department announced that torrential rain and sleet and snowfall are expected in the mountainous areas until Tuesday afternoon.

The weather forecast report covers the period of 7-13 February.

According to the report, the region will remain under a rather cold and humid air mass during the specified period.

The highest temperature will be around 9-12 degrees inland and in coastal areas.

The wind, on the other hand, will be moderately strong from time to time from the north and west directions, and it will blow like a storm on Tuesday.

The weather is expected to be partly and less cloudy on Wednesday and Thursday with frost expected in the morning in places and heavy rain is expected on Friday.
