Bodies of 6 more Turkish Cypriot found in earthquake, rises to 32
The bodies of 6 more people from the TRNC have been recovered from under the rumble of Isias Hotel in Adıyaman, Turliye bringing the total number of Turkish Cypriot found dead to 22.
The TRNC Prime Ministry in an announcement on Friday said they were rescued from the wreckage of the Isias Hotel in Adıyaman as a result of the search and rescue efforts carried out by the TRNC team.
With this loss, the number of Turkish Cypriots who lost their lives in Adıyaman rose to 22. The number of people who lost their lives in Turkey in general increased to 32.
6 Turkish Cypriots lost their lives in Hatay, 3 in Kahramanmaraş and 1 in Osmaniye.
The Ministry said there are still 16 people trying to be reached and rescued across Turkey.
13 people in Adıyaman Isias and 3 people in Hatay are under the rubble…
The Ministry said number of TRNC citizens that we lost in the earthquake in Turkey in general is as follows, according to the provinces;
Adıyaman (22 people)
Kahramanmaraş (3 people)
Hatay (6 people)
Osmaniye (1 person)
Total (32 people)
The number of TRNC citizens still trying to be reached and rescued in Turkey is as follows, by provinces;
Adıyaman (13 people)
Hatay (3 people)
Total (16 people)
Our search and rescue teams have been working from the first day of the earthquake to this day by mobilizing all their strength and possibilities.
In addition, we have started to bring our citizens, whose bodies are found and whose identity determinations have been made, to their countries. The names of our 10 citizens who were brought from Turkey last night are as follows;

During the earthquake disaster that we experienced, our Prime Ministry pays utmost attention to make statements that respect both social sensitivities and the suffering of the families of our lost people.
For this reason, we will continue to share identity information only with families, not with the public, until our bodies arrive in our country.
