70 accidents, 19 injuries, 1 death recorded in the last one week

One person died and 19 people were injured in a total of 70 traffic accidents that took place throughout the country in the last week.

According to information released by the Police Press Officer, 15 of the accidents that occurred between January 30 and February 5 resulted in injuries and 54 resulted in damage, while the total amount of damage they caused was 8,350,500 TL.

32 of the accidents took place in Nicosia, 16 in Kyrenia, 10 in Famagusta, 7 in İskele and 5 in Güzelyurt.

During the same period, 1013 traffic crimes were reported in routine traffic controls throughout the country.
