TRNC increases traffic fine
After the announcement of the new minimum wage, the TRNC government has increased traffic fines.
The new fines, determined according to the gross minimum wage, will definitely put a hole in the pocket of citizens and residents.
Here are the new traffic fines:
- Exceeding the speed limit up to 20 kilometers - A fine of 10% of the gross minimum wage (1356.30 TL), 5 points.
- Driving an unlicensed vehicle - A fine of 10% of the gross minimum wage (1356,30 TL)
- Driving without a driver's license-Fine up to the gross minimum wage, 100 points.
- Exceeding the speed limit up to 20 kilometers in a place with a fixed image radar system - A fine of 10% of the gross minimum wage (1356.30 TL), 5 points.
- Exceeding the speed limit from 20 kilometers to 40 kilometers in a place with a fixed image radar system - A fine of 15% of the gross minimum wage (2034.45 TL), 25 points.
- Exceeding the speed limit by more than 40 kilometers in a place with a fixed image radar system - A fine of 25% of the gross minimum wage (3390.75 TL), 50 points.
- Failure to comply with traffic lights - A fine of 20% of the gross minimum wage (2712.60 TL) 30 points.
- Failure to comply with traffic signs - A fine of 10% of the gross minimum wage (1356,30 TL) 15 points.
- Driving or attempting to drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs - A fine of 50% of the gross minimum wage (6781.50 TL)-100 points.
