Man falls from apartment roof top in Lefkosa, seriously injured

A 32-year-old man was seriously injured after falling from a height of over 11 metres from the roof of an apartment building in Marmara, Lefkosa on Sunday.

The incident happened at around 2:30am on Sunday in in Marmara, Lefkosa.

According to police statement, Sunnet Achilov, 32 fell from the top of an apartment block from a height of 11.35 meters onto the concrete flooring. He was seriously injured after the fall.

The reason for his fall is not known.

He remains rushed to the Lefkosa State Hospital where he was being observe in the intensive care unit of the hospital.

Investigation into the incident continues.
