Floods sweeps part of south Cyprus, citizen uses canoe

Greek Cypriot man captured paddling a canoe and another skiing in the flood that swept Protaras during the heavy down pour on Saturday. 

The man, a local of Protaras, south Cyprus along with others were seen paddling a canoe and skiing down the central Protaras and Ayia Napa roads. The area was hit with severe storms that caused extensive flooding, which affected dozens of businesses, homes and streets.

Report say the man on the canoe was helping hundreds of residents and visitors who were caught up in the flooding.
