Police seize 230 grams of weed in Kyrenia: 2 people detained

Police have arrested two men after they were found with cannabis type drug in Kyrenia.

The suspects identified only as OSE, 28 and ICI, 30, were identified and arrested within the scope of the operation (Parking Operation) carried out by the Narcotics and Smuggling Prevention Directorate at around  8:30pm on Tuesday in Kyrenia

Police said a substance believed to be a cannabis type drug weighing approximately 230 grams in ready-to-sale packages was found at their disposal and taken as evidence.

Police said cash of 11,635 TL and 180 STG, believed to have been obtained from the sale of drugs, were found and seized.

The persons in question were arrested and the investigation continues.
