Pakistan is in talks with the TRNC: Pakistani Foreign Minister

When asked whether Pakistan would recognize the TRNC, Pakistani Foreign Minister Zardari replied, "Pakistan is frankly in talks with them (TRNC)".

According to report by Yeniduzen, Pakistan has indicated that it's in talk with the TRNC as regards recognition.

Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilaval Bhutto Zardari, on the recognition of the TRNC, said, 

During a visit to the USA, Zardari answered the questions of the AA correspondent in New York.

When asked whether Pakistan would recognize the TRNC, Zardari replied as follows:

"The last time I came to New York for the UN General Assembly meetings, I had the opportunity to meet with them, I went to their mission and talked to them. Pakistan is obviously in talks with them (TRNC). The Turkish Cypriots also spoke at the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) meeting that I chaired last year, so we started our engagement. And we will continue to support it.”
