Man arrested for sending woman nude photos on Facebook

Turkish Cypriot police has arrested a man for allegedly harassing a woman on social media, by send his nude to her.

The suspect, a TRNC citizen identified with the initials, MU was arrested and taken to a court in Lefkosa on Friday last week on charges of harassing a woman on social media.

Police officer who testified in court, said the suspect sent a naked photo of himself laying on the bed with his genitals showing to the woman on Facebook.

The police demanded that the suspect be released on bail condition that will make him available for trial in the future.

The judge released him on bail, banned him from going abroad, report at the police once a week, present one credible TRNC citizen as guarantor to sign a personal surety bond worth 100,000 and deposits 15,000 TL in cash.
