A man who fled the TRNC to south Cyprus after committing several crimes has returned on his own.

He turned himself in and surrendered to the police on Tuesday, October, 11.

Police said the suspect was involved in the crimes of importing, receiving, exporting and disposing of approximately 1 kilogram of Sentetic Cannabionide and Heroin type drugs in many cases in Lefkosa, Famagusta and Kyrenia during his three years in Cyprus.

The police also stated that the suspect had connections to many issues such as "theft from the Residence, Opening a House at Night, Intentional Damage, Batting, Violation of the Electronic Communications Law".

Police said that the suspect had three cases pending and that he had violated the military forbidden zone in the first degree and crossed to the south while he was on collateral.
