Fire outbreak at Famagusta port

A big fire broke out in a private warehouse area located in Famagusta Free Harbor on Monday evening causing panic among residents.

The cause of the fire is not yet known. Fire brigade and port personnel are responding to the fire as flames and smoke were seen from all over the city.

It is not yet known which goods in the private warehouse belonging to a workplace named Maddox were damaged or how much area the fire covered.

The fire started around 6:00pm.

At the time of this report, the fire has not yet been brought under control.
