Turkish man behead his mother, threw head out of apartment balcony

A 26-year-old Turkish man has murdered his mother, cut her head and threw it on the street in Istanbul, in an incident that got the entire country in fear.

The unfortunate incident happened in Fevzi Çakmak District, Istanbul Bağcılar at around 4:30pm on Sunday.

After stabbing his 58-year-old mother, Hava Sayan, many times, Ali Sayan cut off her head and threw it from the balcony. 

Not content with that, the murderer then set the house on fire.

He was arrested by the police and taken into custody, the fire in the house was extinguished. 

A neighborhood who witnessed the incident, “We know that he is a substance addict. We learned that he cut off his mother’s head. We have no idea why. After the murder, he burned down his house. He went out on the balcony, showed his mother’s head to people and threw it on the street. She fell in front of a motor courier passing by. He did not leave the house, and the police detained him there.”

Following the incident, upon the request of the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, a broadcast ban was issued by the Bakırköy Criminal Judgeship of Peace on duty regarding the footage of the murder in Bağcılar.

According to report, Ali had made a post about such an incident about her mother on Facebook 5 years ago.

This bring the grave situation of the youth in Turkey’s drug swamp to the fore again.
