African students being perpetrators or victims of crimes can not be ignored - Tufan Erhürman

Main opposition leader and chairman of the CTP, Tufan Erhürmanm has spoken about the recent incident involving African students in the country.

In a social media post on Wednesday, Tufan Erhürman said the incidents in which African students are perpetrators or victims of crime have been repeated one after the other, and that the problem cannot be ignored.

"It's a sensitive issue in many ways. But it's not like it can be passed on by keeping quiet. We can't ignore it, Erhürman wrote.

In recent days, incidents in which African students are perpetrators or victims have been coming one after another in our country. This situation started to alarm in terms of security, humanity, equality/discrimination and universities.  

There is a need for a scientifically based, large-scale study in which all stakeholders will be involved, and urgent measures are needed!.." he concluded.
