TRNC reduces fuel price by almost 2 TL

The government of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has announced a discount in fuel prices.

The reduction was necessitated due to the decrease in global oil prices. 

The new price was reduced by between 1TL and 2TL.

The new price discount announced by the Minister of Economy and Energy Amcaoğlu on Tuesday, August, 2 will come into effect from midnight tonight.  

Accordingly, as of midnight tonight, a discount of 1.1 TL for 95 octane, 1.1 TL for 98 octane, 2 TL for Euro Diesel and 1.1 TL for gas oil will be made.

In his written statement, the Minister stated that they have done the necessary work to reduce fuel prices and that the decree has been prepared. 

A discount of 1.1 TL was made for 95 octane, 1.1 TL for 98 octane, 2 TL for Euro Diesel and 1.1 TL for gas oil.

Accordingly, the new prices are as follows:
95 Octane Gasoline reduced from 22.26TL to 21.16TL
98 Octane Gasoline reduced from 22.57TL to 21.47TL
Euro Diesel was reduced from 25.47TL to 23.47TL
Kerosene/Gas oil was reduced from 25.00TL to 23.90TL.

The price of fuel were increased last week Thursday.
