TRNC authority to increase fuel price by almost 5TL

After raising the price of domestic gas in the TRNC, the government might increase the price of fuel products by almost 5TL.

According to news coming out of the TRNC on Thursday, the Fuel Unit proposed a 4.46 TL increase in the price of 95 octane gasoline.

This is due to the increase in Brent oil prices and the depreciation of TL.

The proposal for a record hike in fuel prices will be one of the items on the agenda of the Council of Ministers meeting of the UBP-DP-YDP government.

If the Council of Ministers, which is expected to meet on Friday, approves the proposal, the price of 95 octane gasoline will be sold for 28 TL per liter.

The last time fuel prices were increased was on May 26, 2022 when it was increased to 23.54 TL/Lt for 95 octane gasoline.
