Kıb-Tek announces an increase in the price of electricity
The Turkish Cyprus Electricity Authority (Kıb-Tek) has announced an increase in the price of electricity.
Kıb-Tek General Directorate on Tuesday announced that electricity tariff fees will be increased by 56.58 Kurus per Kws.
According to a written statement made by the General Directorate of Kıb-Tek, the decision of the Turkish Cyprus Electricity Authority Board of Directors to increase will be effective as of July, 1, 2022.
In the statement, it was stated that "in accordance with the Electricity Development Regulation, price adjustments should be made according to economic conditions at the latest every 2 months."
