84-year-old man kills wife in south Cyprus, report self to the police

An 84-year-old man has reported himself to the police after killing his wife in Limassol, in south Cyprus.

The incident happened on Monday morning.  

According to report, the man went to the police station early on Monday and said he had just killed his 82-year-old wife by hitting her on the head with a hammer.

They had a heated argument, he also said, according to police.

Coroners who went to the scene of the incident, said the victim had five blows on the head.
