TRNC increases fuel price by almost 4TL

The government of TRNC has decided to increase the price of fuel product by almost 4 TL but the government will cover the increase for one week.

Announcing the government decision following the meeting of Council of Minister on Friday, Minister of Agriculture Dursun Oğuz, spokesperson of the Council of Ministers, said an increase was made in fuel due to the increase in oil and foreign exchange, but the increase would be covered by the Ministry of Finance for a week.

According to the Board decisions; "The necessary hike in fuel prices was not applied" and according to the statement, the government will take responsibility for this figure for a week. 

"Accordingly, an increase of 3.90 TL was made for 95 octane gasoline, 3.96 TL for 98 octane gasoline and 0.98 TL for Euro diesel was required, but the government will not reflect this increase to the public and will cover it for a period of 1 week."
