Mild earthquake of 3.0 magnitude felt in Limassol in southern Cyprus
A mild earthquake was felt in Limassol, south Cyprus on Monday evening.
The Cyprus geological survey
department made the announcement.
The earthquake of 3.0 magnitude, with a depth of 2 kilometers, with an epicenter in the
wider Gerasa area, 15 kilometers northwest of Limassol happened at about 6:38pm on Monday.
Light tremors were felt across the Limassol district too.
The seismological centre said it will be monitoring the phenomenon for further developments.
