Greek Cypriot man swallows sachets containing cocaine, arrested at the airport

A 19-year-old Greek Cypriot man, reportedly swallowed sachets containing cocaine upon arrival at Larnaca airport in south Cyprus.

According to report, the suspect was arrested on Thursday night upon his arrival from Greece, and was taken to the Larnaca Hospital since it was ascertained that he had swallowed sachets containing cocaine.

Report say police has so far confiscated 40 sachets containing half a kilo of cocaine, while the man will undergo x-rays so that the police will know whether there are more sachets inside him.

Police are carrying out investigations to find the suppliers and also those who may have received the drugs in the Cyprus market.
