TRNC increases cigarette and tobacco prices

The price of some cigarette and tobacco in the TRNC has been increased by 2 TL starting from Thursday, March, 24, following the hike in alcoholic products.

With the increase of the Price Stabilization Fund, the prices of liquor and tobacco products increased significantly.

Marlboro and parliament cigarette types, which were previously sold for 22 TL, will increase to 24 TL, while silkut and Benson cigarette types, which were sold for 26 TL, will increase to 28 TL.  

Tobacco prices will increase by 4 TL on average.

While the FIF was 250 TL for 1000 cigarettes, it will now be sold at 75 TL for 1000 cigarettes and 75 TL per kilo for cigars and tobacco.
