Two men from Cameroon found dead in their home in south Cyprus
Two men from Cameroon were found dead on Thursday at a house in Lakatamia, Nicosia, south Cyprus after they reportedly lit a charcoal fire to keep themselves warm.
A third man in the same house, is battling for his life at the Nicosia general hospital. The men were found at around 9.30am on Thursday.
Authorities suspect the three were overcome by fumes, killing a 25-year-old and a 30-year-old. Post mortems will be carried out to determine the exact cause of death.
In a separate case, a 53-year-old Greek Cypriot man was found dead at a farm in Dhali. Reports said a heater had short-circuited after he turned it up too high. Police are still investigating the circumstances.
