Face-to-Face education will not be suspended in the TRNC
Face-to-Face education will not be suspended in the TRNC, the Ministry of Education has announced.
Announcing that education will continue as planned, the Ministry of National Education and Culture emphasized that the Supreme Committee for Infectious Diseases has not made any decision to suspend education.
The statement from the Ministry is as follows;
Dear parents and important members of our education community, our teachers;
Due to the Omicron variant, it is observed that there is an increase in the number of coronavirus cases and contacts throughout our country and in our educational institutions, as is the case all over the world.
In this direction, the pandemic measures implemented in our schools have been increased and general screening tests have been started in order to prevent transmission.
We want all our people to know that the health of our students, teachers, staff and parents is our first priority. However, the Ministry of Health's Communicable Diseases Supreme Committee has not made any decision to suspend face-to-face education and to switch to online education.
Reminding once again that we, as the Ministry of National Education and Culture, are obliged to comply and implement the decisions taken by the Ministry of Infectious Diseases Supreme Committee, we draw attention to the fact that the education process carried out in our schools will continue as planned.
