Couple caught having intercourse on grass verge after trying to break into cars
A witness called the police on Corallena Loveridge and her partner after she saw them and thought that the 31-year-old lady was being sexually assaulted.
But when the cops arrived to Otterburn Road in Blackburn, Lancashire, they found out it was consensual sex and had to separate the amorous couple.
Blackburn Magistrates Court heard that before they started making love on the grass outside people’s homes, the pair had tried breaking into cars.
The couple were charged to court following the incident. Prosecuting, Peter Kelly said police were originally called by a man who had seen the couple trying to open car doors on March 3 last year. Shortly after, the female witness looked out and saw the couple having sex on a grass area across from her house.
Loveridge told cops that she had taken a mixture of alcohol and drugs.
She said she was sorry and embarrassed about what had happened.
Loveridge pleaded guilty to outraging public decency, vehicle interference and failing to comply with post-sentence supervision. She was given a community order sentence for one year, along with an eight-week long curfew from 7pm to 7am.
She was also ordered to pay £50 compensation for the distress caused to the female witness and £95 victim surcharge, as well as an £80 fine for failing to comply with post-sentence supervision
