31-Year-old man die following a fatal accident near Famagusta

A 31-year-old man has died in an accident that occurred on the Serdarlı - Geçitkale Main Road, north Cyprus on Sunday morning.

The man identified as John Otega JOHNSON, 31 died in a car accident that occurred at about 7:00am on Sunday on the Serdarlı - Geçitkale Main Road, in Famagusta.

Police report said he lost control of the vehicle at a left-sloping bend due to carelessness, drove off the road and crashed into a concrete pole and a tree fence.

The seriously injured John Otega JOHNSON was taken to the intensive care unit of the Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Lefkosa.

Despite all efforts to save him, he gave up at about 5:20pm on Sunday.

His nationality was not stated in the report
