TRNC government to fix exchange rate

The government of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is working on fixing the exchange rate.

TRNC Minister of Economy and Energy Minister Sunat Atun made the announcement on Thursday.

Atun said that demands such as exchange rate fixation are being worked on and the Prime Minister will announce them.

Stating that inflation increased with the increase in foreign exchange, the increase in the price of transportation in the world market was also reflected in the prices.

Atun stated that they will carry out the necessary work very quickly to make trade with Turkey fully in Turkish Lira and noted that they will talk about this issue during their visit to Turkey.
