Three arrested for sharing money they found on the floor

If you find money on the ground in North Cyprus, dont turn it into person use, I repeat, do not turn it into personal use because its a crime to do so.

A 20-year-old man who reportedly picked 10,000TL that was mistakenly dropped by a person after leaving the bank in Girne has been arrested.

The suspect was said to have found and stolen the money after it was dropped by the owner on Wednesday, November, 2, 2021.

Further investigation by the police regarding the incident, revealed he shared the said money with two of his friends.

His two friends were also arrested. 

Police said they had no legal status in the country.
