61-Year-old man found burnt in a house fire in Ozanköy, north Cyprus

A 61-year-old man was found burnt in a house fire in Ozanköy on Sunday evening.

The fire incident on the second floor of a residence in Çatalköy street, Ozanköy happened at about 11:00pm on Sunday.

The fire was extinguished by firefighters.

The house belongs to the deceased, Hüseyin Paul Arabacı. 

He was found dead in the living room of the house. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. 

Autopsy result revealed that the cause of death was as a result of "burn and carbon monoxide poisoning."

The living room and kitchen of the residence were completely damaged by the fire, while the 2 bedrooms were partially damaged.
