TRNC lifts midnight curfew

The 'Partial Curfew' which has been introduced by the TRNC government between the hours of 12:00am and 5:00am during the pandemic period to curb the spread of coronavirus in the country has been lifted.

The decision was published in the Official Gazette on Monday and entered into force as of midnight on Monday, October, 4.

In it's decision; “The TRNC Council of Ministers approved the "Order for the Annulment of the Partial Curfew Order", which was prepared based on the authorization given by Article 2 of the Curfew Law No. 156.
