Second minor earthquake took place in Limassol, south Cyprus
A second minor earthquake measuring magnitude 3.1 took place again on Wednesday afternoon in Limassol, south Cyprus.
The second of such event in one day happened at about 4.43pm on Wednesday and felt in several regions of Cyprus.
According to the geological survey department, the quake was recorded at 4.43pm with its epicentre at, 14 kilometres northwest of Limassol. Its depth was 20 kilometres.
Earlier in the day, a 3.3 magnitude temblor with roughly the same epicentre was recorded at 7.53am.
Around 20 aftershocks were recorded afterwards but had not been felt, the department said.
There were no reports of damage.
