62 Year old man die in accident in Famagusta

A 62-year-old man died in an accident that happened in Famagusta on Wednesday evening.

Ali Barışer, 62, a resident of Famagusta was driving on Abant Street at about 5:25pm on Wednesday, when he went off the road and crashed onto a car parked by the side of the road.

He died at the scene of the accident.

Police in its report said, the unfortunate incident happened when Ali got to the Sincan Street junction and was unable to stop the car. He lost control of the steering and hit the pavement and concrete embankment and then crashed onto a car parked at the side of the road.
